This pattern is inspired by the iconic red-white-blue ice cream trucks that could often be found cruising the streets of HK back in the 1970’s – 1990’s. The melodic tune of the ice cream truck would send kids and adults squealing in delight and running to queue up for a delicious soft serve ice cream. Soft serve ice cream is something that could not be kept in the refrigerator, it has to be consumed within minutes; that fleeting moment of sweet satisfaction is what sets it apart from other frozen treats and make it all the more precious and memorable.
